RAJBIRAJ: A 55-year-old worker witnessed the most unpleasant accident in the rice mill at Partaha of Saptari district on Wednesday.
Balaram Mandal's penis was severed from the body after his clothes entangled with the mill's conveyor belt and his groin was thrust to the running gear.
The victim of the work place tragedy is a permanent resident of Bhagatpur of the district.
He is critically injured in the incident.
Local Nagendra Raya informed that Mandal has been taken to a well-equipped hospital for treatment after primary treatment at Bharadaha Hospital.
