The Serious Risks Of Penile Enlargement Surgery

If you’ve been worried about your penis size, you’ve probably been researching any method possible for increasing your size.  You’ve thought about using supplements and medications like Viagra and Vydox, and you’ve looked into a variety of creams and exercises.  There are a variety of things men use to try to improve the size of their penis, and most are willing to do anything possible to get their desired length and girth.

Some men have been researching the possibility of penile enlargement surgery.  Penile enlargement surgery sounds like something new and futuristic, but the procedure has been in use since the early 1970’s.  Many people view it as the only option for penile enhancement.  After all surgery seems like a permanent solution to your problems, and a surgery seems slightly safer than other methods.  Many people primarily choose penile enlargement surgery to increase the length and width of the penis, others choose it for its other benefits.  Some men who receive the surgery say that they feel an increased sense of confidence and self-esteem, and a general surge of confidence.

Like every surgery, penile enlargement surgery has its own set of risks, and those risks may outweigh some of the expected and supposed benefits.  Like many surgeries, penile enlargement surgery can cause infection, excess bleeding, and intense pain afterwards.  It can take anywhere from weeks to months to fully recover from the surgery, and there are some very specific risks that come with penile enlargement surgery that can cause serious problems.

Penis lengthening surgery carries a high risk of infection, or potential lack of blood flow to the skin of the penis which can cause ulceration through out the groin area.  If you’re concerned about appearance, you may want to reconsider getting a penis lengthening surgery.  The penis can appear to hang from the scrotum instead of the abdomen, and it can result in it having a lop-sided or crooked appearance.  Many doctors use fat collected from certain areas of the body to add girth and width to the penis.  Penis widening surgery can cause the formation and appearance of irregularly shaped fatty lumps on the penis.  There is also the issue of fat being reabsorbed into the body which can reduce the width, and this is an expected risk that can happen over time.

The most troublesome side effect of penile enlargement surgery is that it may not work. After all of the money, pain, and healing, you may not notice a difference in the appearance or size of your penis. Surgery could also damage penile sensations, so you may not be able to enjoy sex the way that you used to.
